6 years out on 7/8
Hi BAF,
I don't get on here much any more, but I thought I share my thoughts about GBS and how it has been for me the last 6 years. Some good and some bad. I would do it again in a heartbeat, but I would follow ALL the rules and never reintroduce complex carbs back into my diet. I lost 125 pounds in a year and gained back 40 over the last 3 years. I have held steady for the last year and am trying to re lose what I have gained. It's not easy anymore. This far out is just like you never had surgery as far as losing. My pouch is still good to me as far as eating though, thank God or i would have gained back all my weight.
I still dump on sweets and can still only eat small amounts at one time. I know I need to get back to working out and the weight would come off easier. I am in school part time and still teaching full time. I can't complain about GBS. I am still a fan after all these years.
